DMCA and Copyright
We respect creators' rights and act on valid copyright complaints promptly.
How iSnapStoryView Handles Content
iSnapStoryView displays public Snapchat stories and profile information served from Snapchat's own servers. We do not host, copy or republish story files on our own infrastructure. If you are a creator, the fastest way to stop your profile appearing here is Remove My Profile — verified requests are actioned within 72 hours, no copyright filing needed.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content accessible through iSnapStoryView infringes your copyright, send a notice via our contact form including:
- Your full name and contact details (email and address).
- Identification of the copyrighted work (e.g. a link to the original).
- Identification of the infringing material on iSnapStoryView (the Snapchat username and a description of the story).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What Happens Next
- Valid, complete notices are actioned within 72 hours — typically by excluding the profile from our service and clearing any cached copies.
- Incomplete notices will get one reply asking for the missing details.
- Abuse of the takedown process (false claims) may lead to us ignoring further notices from the sender.
Counter-Notices
If your content was removed following a complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the same details in reverse. We will review it and, where appropriate, restore access.
